We've established a Customer Care Registry to better serve our customers' needs, both now and in the future. Registration takes only a few moments, is strictly confidential and entirely voluntary *. It let's you opt-in to receiving our annual Spring Sale flyer and occassional e-mails and enables us to provide you with a detailed list of your purchases should you ever need it for insurance or warranty purposes. The registry also allows us to extend a courtesy discount of 10% off of regularly priced stock items to members of recognised outdoor groups such as the Bruce Trail Conservancy (proof of current membership required). Be sure to sign up for the Registry the next time you are in the store!

We send out an e-mail newsletter every so often to let you know about some of the exciting things going on at SUNTRAIL like upcoming events, courses, trips, new product arrivals and special sales. The newsletters are normally sent only to persons who specifically request them, so be sure to request your free subscription by filling out the e-Newsletter Signup form.
We can outfit you with all kinds of rental gear for your winter and summer adventures, including skis, snowshoes, boats, tents, stoves, and more! Check out our Rentals page for full details.
At SUNTRAIL we actually encourage you to "try before you buy". In addition to providing an assortment of rental gear for your long-term use, we also conduct free scheduled demos of products such as snowshoes and boats so you can try and compare various models to find exactly the right one for you. See something you like but aren't quite in a position to pick it up or make full payment right away? We'd be happy to put a temporary 24-48 hour hold on almost any item while you make arrangements for pickup or payment, and we can also put items on a longer term layaway with the payment of a suitable deposit.

Is there something you'd like to purchase that you don't see in the store? If it's an item that our other Source For Adventure stores or our suppliers carry, we can quickly check on the availability of the item and advise you of your options for ordering it in.

If you are unable to wait until the next regular shipment from that supplier, an additional shipping charge may also apply. Because special order items are non-stock items, all sales are deemed "final", items are non-returnable, and no other discounts apply.
Is there a special event such as a birthday, graduation or wedding in your future? Congratulations! We can help you to develop a list of suggested gifts that you would appreciate receiving which people can select from for their shopping convenience.
Are you shopping for someone that's "hard to buy for"? Don't fret; let them pick out their own gift by giving them a Source For Adventure Gift Card. The cards can be loaded with almost any amount of money you choose and there is no expiry date.
In the unlikely event that an item which you've purchased from us proves defective, we can assist you in obtaining the evaluation, repair and/or replacement of that item under the terms of the original manufacturer's warranty.
As sturdy as modern outdoor gear is nothing lasts forever, so we offer an in-store repair service for many of the products that we sell -- from skis and boats to tents and stoves -- and all at very reasonable rates. We also provide a complete lineup of shop services for nordic skis, including wood and synthetic base prep, hot waxing and binding installation.
